Billing & Refunds Policy

This Billing & Refunds Policy explains how payments, virtual currencies, subscriptions, and refunds work across GridPlay Studios (“GridPlay”, “we”, “us”). By using our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Payment Methods

GridPlay accepts the following forms of payment:

• Stripe (real‑world currency): Credit/debit cards and other Stripe‑supported methods.
• Linden Dollars (L$): Virtual currency used within Second Life.
• GridPlay P$: A fictional, roleplay‑only virtual currency used within the GridPlay ecosystem.

2. Virtual Currencies

2.1 Linden Dollars (L$)

L$ payments are processed through Second Life vendors or in‑world systems. L$ transactions are final and subject to Linden Lab’s Terms of Service. GridPlay does not control L$ exchange rates, fees, or cash‑out policies.

2.2 GridPlay P$ (Roleplay Currency)

GridPlay P$ is a fictional, non‑monetary currency used for roleplay and in‑platform interactions. P$ has:

• No real‑world monetary value
• No cash‑out option
• No exchange rate to real currency or L$
• No guarantee of future availability or stability

P$ cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted into real money under any circumstances.

3. Subscriptions & One‑Time Purchases

GridPlay may offer subscription plans or one‑time purchases for features such as:

• Bot services
• Vendor or rental tools
• MOTD features
• Creator dashboards or analytics

Prices may change at any time. Any changes will apply to future billing cycles only.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Stripe (Real‑World Currency)

Refunds for Stripe purchases may be granted at GridPlay’s discretion in cases such as:

• Duplicate charges
• Accidental purchases
• Service failure or outage

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4.2 Linden Dollars (L$)

L$ transactions are generally non‑refundable. Because L$ is a virtual currency governed by Linden Lab, GridPlay cannot reverse or refund L$ payments unless:

• A vendor malfunction occurred
• A duplicate payment was made
• A verified technical error prevented delivery of the service

All L$ refund decisions are made on a case‑by‑case basis.

4.3 GridPlay P$

GridPlay P$ is a fictional roleplay currency. Because it has no monetary value, P$ cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted under any circumstances.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or approved by GridPlay support.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact GridPlay support before initiating a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in:

• Account suspension
• Loss of access to purchased features
• Loss of P$ or L$‑based services
