This Billing & Refunds Policy explains how payments, virtual currencies, subscriptions, and refunds work across GridPlay Studios (“GridPlay”, “we”, “us”). By using our services, you agree to the terms below.
GridPlay accepts the following forms of payment:
L$ payments are processed through Second Life vendors or in‑world systems. L$ transactions are final and subject to Linden Lab’s Terms of Service. GridPlay does not control L$ exchange rates, fees, or cash‑out policies.
GridPlay P$ is a fictional, non‑monetary currency used for roleplay and in‑platform interactions. P$ has:
P$ cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted into real money under any circumstances.
GridPlay may offer subscription plans or one‑time purchases for features such as:
Prices may change at any time. Any changes will apply to future billing cycles only.
Refunds for Stripe purchases may be granted at GridPlay’s discretion in cases such as:
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
L$ transactions are generally non‑refundable. Because L$ is a virtual currency governed by Linden Lab, GridPlay cannot reverse or refund L$ payments unless:
All L$ refund decisions are made on a case‑by‑case basis.
GridPlay P$ is a fictional roleplay currency. Because it has no monetary value, P$ cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted under any circumstances.
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or approved by GridPlay support.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact GridPlay support before initiating a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in:
