GridPlay Terms of Service

By accessing or using any website, service, or platform operated by GridPlay Studios (“GridPlay”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

1. Overview

GridPlay provides tools, dashboards, and in‑world integrations for Second Life creators. GridPlay accounts primarily use your Second Life UUID and legacy name for identification. Email signup is optional and used only for account access and communication you explicitly request. We do not store or require passwords.

2. Cookies

GridPlay stores a small number of cookies on your device:

• One cookie to identify your session
• One cookie to enhance security and prevent unauthorized access

No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

3. Use License

• Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of materials on GridPlay’s website for personal, non‑commercial, transitory viewing only. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership. Under this license, you may not:
  1. Modify or copy the materials
  2. Use the materials for commercial purposes or public display
  3. Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any GridPlay software
  4. Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  5. Mirror the materials on another server
• This license terminates automatically if you violate these restrictions. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession.

4. Disclaimer

• GridPlay’s materials and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• GridPlay does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or results from using the service.

5. Limitations

In no event shall GridPlay be liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including loss of data, profit, or business interruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.

6. Accuracy of Materials

Materials on GridPlay’s website may include technical, typographical, or visual errors. GridPlay does not guarantee that materials are accurate or current. We may update content at any time without notice.

7. External Links

GridPlay is not responsible for the content of external websites linked from our platform. Use of external sites is at your own risk.

8. Modifications

GridPlay may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current version.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for any disputes arising from your use of GridPlay.
